An account is what makes the rest of PromptLab yours: your own API key so calls bill to you, your saved prompts, and your optimization history.
- Bring your own key. One OpenRouter key covers every model, or add per-provider keys.
- Free runs are per account. Signed-out visitors get none, so nobody spends someone else's credits.
- Keys are encrypted at rest and never sent back to the browser — you only ever see the last four characters.
No password. The link signs you in and returns you to where you were.
